The current research problem was identified in the low level of cognitive achievement, divergent thinking skills, and low level of engagement in biology learning among first-year secondary students, The Current Research aimed at raising the level of cognitive achievement, developing divergent thinking skills and engaging in learning among first-year secondary students through the proposed program based on communicative theory using digital learning objects, To achieve this goal, the research sample was selected from the students of Jamal Ghitani Secondary School for Girls in Juhayna, Sohag Governorate, and using the experimental approach based on the design of one group(experimental) and the presence of pre- and post- measurement of the dependent variables, and the number of members of the research sample reached (34)students, they were treated experimentally, and applied to them cognitive achievement test, divergent thinking test, and learning engagement scale, The current research found the following results: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of< (0,05) between the average scores of the students of the research sample before and after studying the proposed program in the cognitive achievement test, in the test of divergent thinking skills and in the scale of engagement in learning in favor of the post application,In the light of the result of the research, a set of recommendations were presented: Benefiting from the proposed program, including digital learning objects, which were produced in this research to study the biology curriculum for the first grade of secondary school,The need to use self-e-learning in the various stages of education in general and the secondary stage in particular; to overcome the difficulties facing the teaching of these subjects and hindering the achievement of their goals, Conductive workshops for student teacher to train hem on modern electronic teaching strategies and Benefiting from the findings of the current research of appropriate evaluation methods for the firstgrade secondary schools.
