Upholstery fabrics are one of the important types that the textile industry is generally produced alongside a large side of accuracy and care for the quality of performance and appearance that it should have in proportion to their use.
The workers in the field of textile gathered the importance of the availability of the properties of tension, resistance to dirt and attracting dust of the Upholstery fabrics at the adequate and appropriate rate to confront and the efforts they are exposed to during use
And Upholstery fabrics are a term that includes all types of fabrics used in seat clothing and the work of curtains such as Zardakhan fabrics. The Upholstery fabrics are also materials used in pillows and furniture coverage and include all the menu belonging to the work of the Upholstery fabrics, they include fabric and filling.

The research problem is summarized in:
1- what is the benefit of the effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives to enrich the Upholstery fabrics?
2- How can the optical illusion be employed in the designs of woven Upholstery fabrics?
3- How can the effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives can be adapted to highlight the aesthetics of optical illusion?
As for the importance of research, it is:
1- Enriching Upholstery fabric contributes to opening new markets.
2- Work to find competition for Egyptian products for fabrics woven with global markets.
Research Aims:
1- Take advantage of the effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives in enriching woven Upholstery fabric.
2- Enter the aesthetic value of optical illusion in the design of woven fabrics.
3- Establishing the effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives to highlight the aesthetics of optical illusion.
The first chapter of the first chapter, which deals with Upholstery fabrics, their general division, the factors affecting them, and the main requirements that must be placed in the category, and the most important raw materials, the foundations and principles of Upholstery fabrics design and the foundations of the quotation.
The second chapter of the first chapter, which deals with the concept of optical illusion, its types, and the general features of the optical illusion school and its forms in some elements of nature and its forms in some arts (primitive art- ancient Egyptian- Coptic art- Islamic art- modern era).

Chapter Two, which deals with Color effects, employment, practical experiences and technical analysis of the designs implemented.
Chapter Three, which deals statistical analysis, then set some recommendations that students and researchers in this field were recommended, then presented the research steps in a summary in the Arabic language and the English language, then presented the most important Arabic and foreign references on which the study was based.
about the results of the study, which is several points, namely:
1- twill strueture with its derivatives led to optical illusion in the designs of woven Upholstery fabrics
2- Use the optical illusion method in the designs of woven Upholstery fabrics, gives an aesthetic value to these fabrics and open new markets.
3- The effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives were used to enrich the Upholstery fabrics by using the installation of both (shaded twill- intermittent twill- diamond cutting twill- corrugated twill), which added the third dimension and touched on the fabric.
4- The effects of the twill strueture and its derivatives were adapted to highlight the aesthetics of optical illusion through the composition of each of the (shaded twill- intermittent twill- diamond cutting twill- corrugated twill) that led to the addition of shades on the fabric confirmed the optical illusion feature to the fabrics.
Recommendations:
1- Paying attention to studying the twill strueture and its derivatives to know the extent of its impact on the Upholstery fabrics..
2- Work on more research in the optical illusion style to create Upholstery fabric designs.
