Abstract

The oil and gas industry is essential in our human life as it is the main source of the energy, it plays the principal economical role for every country despite it being a nonrenewable resource of energy. This resource is the principal stone in every industry, so continued efforts and research are dedicated to finding petroleum onshore and offshore. Egypt has become a pioneer in this industry, especially after the numerous discoveries of hydrocarbons in the past years. Its first step began in the oil and gas industry in the Western Desert in the Alamein area where the oil production started from the Alamein Dolomite reservoir with about 4,500 BOPD.
