Abstract

The aim of this Study the floristic features including: record of species, life-span, life-form spectra and floristic categories of the wild plants in the study area to detect the phytogeographical significance of its floristic components. Quantitative analysis of vegetation structure of plant communities in the study area in terms of spatial variations in abundance, using the multivariate analysis (classification and ordination). Analysis of variations in the edaphic factors (edaphic) to determine the soil factors controlling the abundance and distribution of the recognized plant communities in the study area. It can be concluded that, vegetation analysis of the study area indicates that, the Saharo-Sindian taxa are represented by a relatively highest percentage of plant species, which can be used as a source for human food, animal fodder and agro-industrial raw materials besides medicinal purposes. Study the Biological activities of Achillea fragrantissima and Deverra tortuosa. The quantitative of the secondary chemical constituents of some selected species was carried out to evaluate their medicinal purposes as raw natural resources. The DPPH free radical scavenging activity of the studied plant extracts were also estimated. The extract of showed. In this investigation, the results of chemical analysis of Achillea fragrantissima, and Deverra tortuosa each of plant analyzed by GC-MS are variable. It was investigated that, the extracted essential oil of two plant spp. (Achillea fragrantissima and Deverra tortuosa) exhibited different inhibitory activities against the tested bacterial strains with different degrees. On the other hand, Achillea fragrantissima and Deverra tortuosa are also show different inhibition zone against fungal strain.
