The current study aims to try to explore the relationship between the mental self-image and psychological capital, in light of some social variables, The sample consisted of 345 students from the first and second grades of general secondary school, The study was conducted on a sample composed of 345 students, The researcher used Mental Self-Image scale and Psychological Capital Scale and Social Environment Scale of her preparation, and can summarize the most important findings to the study of the results are as follows: A positive and statistically significant correlation of 0.01 between individual scores on the self-image scale and those on the psychic capital scale, There is also a positive and statistically significant correlation of 0.01 between sample scores on the mental self-image scale and those on the social environment scale, A positive and statistically significant correlation of 0.01 was found between the psychological capital and social environment scores of the sample, The results also resulted in statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.01 attributable to gender in the self-image and in favour of males, except for emotional dimension There were no differences according to gender, There were statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.01 attributable to gender in psychological capital and in favour of males, except after optimism there were no differences according to gender, There were also statistically significant differences at the significance level 0.01 attributable to gender on the social environment scale, on the dimension of the family climate in favour of males, and on the school climate in favour of females, except for the media dimension, there were no differences according to gender, The findings also found that the self-image variable mediates between the social environment variable and the psychological capital variable.
