Abstract

Abstract
Interleukin-25 is one of Interleukin-17 family that plays an important role in the pathophysiology of allergic rhinosinusitis by causing cellular hyperplasia and influx also interleukin-25 release is responsible for prolongation of allergic symptoms in allergic rhinosinusitis patients.
Topical corticosteroids are effective in treatment of allergic rhinosinusitis and they play important role in relieving allergic symptoms
In that study the release of interleukin-25 was found in both epithelial and subepithelial layers of nasal mucosa in patients with allergic rhinosinusitis.
That release was affected by the use of topical corticosteroids
