A field trial was conducted to compare the serological responses in sheep to two commercial vaccines against Bovited viral diarrhea (BVDV). Infectious bovine rhinotrachetits virus(IBRV). Bovine respiratory syncytial virus(BRSV) and parainfluenza-3 virus(PI-3V). the two vaccines used are local combind inactivated pnecumo-3 vaccine and imported combined incatived virashield-5 vaccines.
Serological responses in sheep to BVDV,IBRV and BRSV were measured using sut and ELISA tests while the serological response in sheep to PI-3V was measured using HI and ELISA tests. Antibody titres to BVDV,IBRSV and PI-3V were higher in sheepyaccinated with local combined inactived pneumo-3 vaccine than in those vaccinated with imported combined inactived Virashield-5 vaccine.
