Abstract This study was performed during 2000 and 2001 seasons on head trained Red Roomy grapevines in a private vineyard located at Bany Hassan EI-Ashraaf Village, Minia Governorate. The objective of this study was examining the effect of yeast and some micronutrients on growth, vine nutritional status, berry set% , yield as well as physical and chemical properties of Red Roomy grapevines. The experiment involved the following two factors : 1- ¬The first factor (A) was the four concentrations of yeast a1Control (i.e, 0.0% yeast) a2 Spraying yeast at 0.025% a3 Spraying yeast at 0.05% a4 Spraying yeast at 0.1 % 2- The second factor (B) included the following eight treatments from the three micronutrients namely Zn, Fe and Mn: ¬b1 Control (Sprayed with water vines) b2 Spraying chelated Zn at 0.05% b3 Spraying chelated Fe at 0.05% b4 Spraying chelated Mn at 0.05% b5 Spraying Fe and Zn b6 Spraying Mn and Zn b7 Spraying Mn and Fe b8 Spraying Fe, Zn and Mn Therefore, thirty two treatments were included in this study. Each treatment was replicated three times, one vine per each. Yeast and three tudied micronutrients in chelated form at 0.05% were sprayed the three imes at growth start, just after berry set and at 30 days later. |
