Abstract
The aim of this research is to study the family planning methods used after delivery in rural areas. Studying the obstacles in delivery of family planning programme in El-Minia , to compare between utilization of family planning health services in rural and urban areas of el-minia. We also studied the relation between the use of contraception and the following determinate factors: age of the mother parity , education and occupation of women and husbands, socio-economic status of them . we also studied the causes of discontinuation among the studied samples. This study includes 480 married females in the childbearing period (15-49 years). These women are divided into three studied groups.
