Abstract

Egypt recently has main problems, excess population pressure, limited arable and polluted rural areas, Therefore, agricultural security depends largely on main two scheme, first, raising the productivity of cultivable soils and second, urbanization of polluted rural areas. Such planning could be attained through land application mauagemcnl of biosolids, specially, Egyptian soils contain low contents of organic matter (less than 2%). Therefore, huge amounts of dry biosolitis are currently produced in Egypt, and considered as naUiral resources of organic mailer.
Biosolids land application regulate soil microbial biomass, which plays a great role in the destruction and detoxification of polluted rural areas (oiuremediation). However, agrochcmicals and mineral fertilizers, in addition, biosolids land applications to sustain soil quality and productivity are considered, The investigation was carried out to evaluate land applications mentioned before on quality of soil and in turn, quality of some field crops under study.
The present study aimed to asses:
1, The potential effects of land farming or agricultural application of different types of biosolids, e.g., sewage sludges (SS); poultry manures (PM) and processes town refuse (PTR) at different rates, either used alone or in combination (SS + PM) oil soil productivity of two winter crops (e.g. flax and pea) and their following summer crops (e.g, soybean and sunflower). I, The potential inatual synergetic effect of land application of both biosolids and commercial agrochemicals,e.g., sulfur and gypsum, as conditioners on soil, productivity.
