Abstract Local Vaccinethe epidemiological investigation of Paramyxovirus (PMV) infection in Pigeon was carried out on outbreaks from different localities as (Giza ,Kalubia and Sharkia ).there three Isolate were subjects to physicolochemical ,biological characterization and pathological investigation This study was done on the preparation of the inactivated PPMV-1 vaccine from a locally identified Isolate compare this prepard vaccine with the commercial type of vaccine used in vaccination of Pigeon ,the prepared types of vaccines were subjected to vaccine Evaluation steps including sterility ,safely and potency The important results : 1. infectivity titre as well as the HA titre increased by passaging these viruses in SPF eggs till being fixed and reaching the highest titre by the 4th passage 2. pathotyping of the Isolate showed that it falls within the highly virulence strains of PPMV-1 (velogenic ) 3. experimental infection of Pigeon induced signs resembling those that accor in naturally infected Pigeon which began by 3rd,4th ,5th day in I/V,I/M and S/C infected brids post inoculation with the local Isolate and by 4th ,7th and 8th day in I/V,I/M and S/c infected brids with the standard control virus |
