Abstract
The effect of benzodiazepines derivatives (temazepam and clobazarn) administration on tratogenical of chick embryo were studied. Mutagenical biochemical and histological effect of the male albino rats were also studied. For tratogenical studied 400 fertilized with leg horn eggs were divided in 4th day into 5 groups. The first group served as a control group. The other four groups, were injected into the air space with either 0.27 or 0.54 mg/100 ym. body weight from temazepam or clobazarn dissolved in 0.2 ml of Haward’s modified solution. On 14th and 16th day of incubation both alive control and treated embryo where examined. Clearing of 16 days old chick embryos were made for naked eye examination of skeletal system. The body lenyth and body weight were recorded. The main finding result could be summarized as follows. 1- The mean body length and mean body weight were decrease these according to the doses and duration of administration related. 2- The most common abnormalities produced due to the use of temazepam and clobazam are cross beak, loss of right eye in some embryo, loss of lift eye in some other.
