Abstract
The present thesis investigates the structural role of PbF2 and CaF2 in PbO-B2O3 glasses and their effect on some physical properties such as density, molar volume and electric conductivity. FTIR spectroscopy has been used to get information about the structure of these glasses and concentration of the structural units
