The objectives of the research were determined as follow: The research aims at determining the educational standards necessary for a designing synchronous/ asynchronous educational web- site via the internet. It also aims at developing a synchronous/asynchronous educational web-site via the internet
It also aims at determining the effect of providing web-based synchronous/ Cognitive asynchronous education on the extrovert/ introvert student’s achievement. Further,
the research aims at investigating the effect of providing internet - based synchronous / asynchronous education on developing the extrovert/ introvert students’ attitude towards web- based education and determining the relationship between the two
modes of educational communication (synchronous/ asynchronous) via the internet and the learner’s (extrovertion/ introvertion) cognitive style, in terms of the significance of effect on cognitive achievement.Eventually, the research aims at determining the relationship between the two modes of educational communication (synchronous/ asynchronous) via the internet and the learners’ (extrovertion / introvertion) cognitive style, in terms of significance of effect on developing their attitude towards web- based education.
The research investigates the following basic question:
Is there an effect of the interaction between the two modes of educational communication(synchronous/asynchronous) via the internet and the (extroversion /introversion) cognitive style on faculty of education students’ achievement of the e- education unit and their attitude towards web – based education?
Findings of the Research:-
the favourability of using the synchronous communication mode in interaction among extrovert students and the favourability of using the asynchronous communication mode in interaction among introvert students,there was no effect of the communication mode on the gain ratio of cognitive achievement of the ”e- education” unit,there was no effect of the cognitive style (extroversion versus introversion) on the gain ratio of cognitive achievement of the e- education unit.
