Abstract Twenty adult healthy male guinea pigs were used in this work. They were divided into two groups (ten animals in each group). They were designated G.I. and G. II. The animals of group I were subjected to the process of castration while those of group II were used as controls. Two animals from the operated and control groups were pacified two weeks, one month and two months after the operations by a lethal dose of ether. The vas deferens, seminal vesicles and prostate glands were excised carefully. Samples were taken from these organs and were used for histological & histochemical examinations. |
