Abstract
Introduction : Helicobacter pylori is frequantely associated in the patho genesis of gastric ,Duodenal ulcer and gasteric car cinoma Individuals who secrete H substance also secrete A,B Antigens if they have the more resistance to infection than non secretors Aim of work :study of blood groups , secretory status and Helicobacter pylori In patients with gastro duodenal diseases. Subject & methods : I 25 ml venous blood sample from patients & control for Elisa II 25 ml saliva specimen from patents and control III gastric biopsy specimen were obtained from all patients for detection of the organism Results : 1blood group O was prevalent among patients with Helico bacter pylori 2 Non secretors was prevelant among patients with helico bacter pylori Recommendations: give more attention and care for blood group O non secretors
