Abstract

The present study was carried out during 2002 at 17th July to 15th October on Nile tilapia in Sherbien center of land cultured by rice yield. The exprimental fish were divided into similar seven groups, Each treatment was offered one of tested diets (20, 25 and 30% cp), protein intake 0.6 or 0.9 g/100g fish body weight. Except T1 feeding only of natural food. The results obtained in this study recommended. 1. The all overall means significantly improved effects (P<0.05 or 0.01) on growth performance (growth rats, feeding conversion ratio, nutrients utilization) fish body composition and economic efficiency of Nile tilapia finger lings reared in reared in earthen ponds. 2. When rice fields are fertilized, microbial levels increase and the enriched water of rice fields becomes an effective source of nutrients primary productivity for the fish. 3. Fertilization of rice field either chemical or by organic manure is to increase inorganic nutrients concentrations. Also natural food resources for fish (phytozooplankton) 4. The treatment no. 0.6, which their fishes was fed on 30% cp and protein intake level 0.6 g/100g fish body weight supported than other treatments under this study. 5. Cultivation Nile tilapia fish in water rice fields in important resource of actually increase rice yield. While providing farmers with an important sources of protein and extra income.
