Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the correlation between amniotic fluid index& amniotic fluid glucose levels and its relation to neonatal outcomes among pregnant diabetic women and to compare it with pregnant nondiabetic women. Study Design: A.F.I& Amniotic fluid glucose and Apgar score were correlared among 60 diabetic women and 30 non diabetic pregnant . Results: A.F.I and amniotic fluid glucose were significantly higher among diabetic group than non diabetic group. Conclusion : Positive correlation was found between A.F.I. &amniotic fluid glucose in the diabetic groupe. Positive correlation between A.F.I. &Birth weight in the diabetic group.Negative correlation between amniotic fluid glucose&Apgar score in diabetic group.
