Abstract

An in vitro study was carried out on the roots of maxillary central incisors, to evaluate and compare the effect of different techniques of post & core, types of luting cement and sizes of the post on the fracture resistance of endodontically treated roots. Two hundred roots of maxillary central incisors were endodontically treated and divided into three different groups according to the type of luting materials: Group I, included 80 prepared roots, in which all posts were cemented glass ionomer cement; Group II, included 80 prepared roots, in which all posts were cemented with panavia resin cement; Group III, included 40 prepared roots, in which dentin bonded composite resin posts & cores were constructed. The specimens in group I & II were then devided into two subgroups, 40 roots each, according to the type of post; subgroup A, included para-post dowels and composite resin cores; subgroup B, included cast posts & cores. Each subgroup was subdivided into two subdivisions, 20 roots each; according to the thameter of the post; subdivision A, included dowels size 3; subdivision B, included dowels size 5. Group III was subdivided :to two subdivision as previously mentioned for group I & II.
The roots of the teeth resistant to treatment Pia break less because of the lack of efficiency and the amount of enamel as a result prepared mechanically and chemically .
It seems that break these roots is a clinical problem difficult to treat , and become more dangerous when they become fixtures on them.
It has been found that the prop systems can be used as a prop for this internal roots for the purpose of protection and fortification against breakage and also for the purpose of detention kernels that are used in the rebuilding of New teeth and compensation as part Mufod them.
* The purpose of the research :
This research was conducted in order to assess and compare the impact of different types and sizes of systems prop conjoined Boisto different types of adhesives to improve the resistance to treatment Pia roots to break.
* Search method :
_ We use a sample of 200 central incisors in the upper jaw and free of decay or any other defect .
- Has been cut from the crown of each breaker so that the roots of equal length has been installed rooted in metal cylinders of a certain size by acrylic material self- cooking .
- Samples were divided enclaves of different adhesives into three main groups , namely:
. The first group included 80 samples and the samples were pasted Adhesive Algelas Aaonomr .
. The second group also included 80 sample was used and where the sticker Bannavia EX .
. Group Iathlh and included 40 samples which were building struts and kernels by material which Alkmopozi which have been associated with ivory .
* Search results :
1 . Has been improved resistance to treatment Pia roots to fracture when used trusses Albrjoost .
2 . The struts and kernels based endodontic material Alkambozi and pasted ivory processor is considered the most effective way to strengthen the roots of treatment for Pia when the channels to address these roots Pia .
3 . The study recommended using stents and kernels built from material Alkambozi associated with ivory by material Altenior in strengthening the roots of treatment for Pia when the wide channels .
