Abstract The purpose of this work is to measure the cross-field transport of Particles associated with Collisionless Drift Waves, arising in a magnetically Confined Plasma and to compare the measurements with the numerical results derived from the linear dispersion relation. The experiments have been carried out on the ODE device. the radial flux of Particles was directly measured by auto and cross correlations between density and potential fluctuations using a real time correlator (band width 10 MHz). |
