Abstract
Annealed polycrystalline Fcc metals and alloys such as AL, CU, Cu-30% Zn, Cu-4% AL, and Cu-8% AL were subjected to unidirectional or reversed twisting under various relatively small tensile stresses (not exceeded 1/3 yield stress). the associated tensile strain and electrical resistivity changes were measured at room temperature up to fracture.
