Abstract
The area under study represents one of the famous drainage in Sinai Peninsula. This system is known as the drainage basin of Wadi Watir for which the present thesis is concerned. The drainage basin of Wadi Watir is occupied the area of the east central Sinai between latitudes 28° 16” and 29° 3” N and longitudes 33° 53” and 34° 44” E. The wadi Watir basin covers an area of about 3512 km². Accordingly, the Wadi Watir basin shows the following points: 1) The rainfall intensity increased in the western haif of the area particularly at the south and southwest. 2) The rainfall precipitation fluctuated from year to year. 3) The annual evaporation is lower than 120 mm / annum.
