The study aimed to learn about parents’ attitudes towards the role of Arab television programs in developing children’s talents by knowing how keen the child is to watch satellite channels from the parents’ point of view, Disclosing the reasons for the child’s keenness to watch satellite channels from the point of view of parents and monitoring the child’s exposure to children’s television programs from the point of view of parents, Knowing how many hours a child spends on children’s satellite programs from the point of view of parents and to reveal the motives for children’s exposure to children’s television programs from the point of view of parents, Knowledge of the cognitive, emotional and behavioral benefits resulting from exposure to children’s programs on satellite television from the point of view of parents, In her study, the researcher relied on multiple intelligence theory and media dependence theory, and This study is a descriptive study designed to describe events, persons, beliefs, trends, values and goals, as well as different patterns of behavior, which is consistent with this study, which seeks parents’ attitudes towards the role of Arab television programs in the development of children’s talents.,and Based on the media survey curriculum, the study aims to learn about parents’ attitudes towards the role of Arab television programs in developing children’s talents.The original community in this research represents a group of parents, The sample study is viewers of children’s programs of parents and their children, which amounted to 450 individuals. The field study was applied from 1 February 2023 to 1 June 2023, and The researcher relied on a questionnaire to collect data.General results of the study:1. The results of the field study confirmed that parents are key controllers of the content of their children’s television programs, through their control over the quality, time and protectors of the content provided to them.2. The results illustrated the interest of the child sample in following up on the channels allocated to them and their preference for public television channels, which are interspersed with content provided to the child.3.The results indicated a preference for children to watch TV shows for them most of the time, as the child has a passion for sitting long in front of those channels, and this shows the parental role in guiding the child towards useful TV content.4.The results demonstrated children’s interest in following up both recreational and educational television programs, and that they could take hours in front of them 5.The results of the field study confirmed the positive motivations of children’s viewing their programs by helping to fill leisure time and get rid of boredom, becoming accustomed to them, learning about problem-solving methods, acquiring new vocabulary and information, developing their talents, and acquiring different scientific and practical knowledge.6.The results demonstrated the positive effects of children’s exposure by acquiring new vocabulary, identifying and harmonizing shapes and colors, developing child intelligence, learning new behaviors and wanting to adhere to the program 7.The results indicated the positive attitudes of parents towards child talent development programs, where child talent development programs contribute to increasing children’s educational attainment, and children’s talent development programs reduce excessive manifestations of violence and nervousness in children that help change their behavior.
