Abstract Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is quickly rising to the top of the list of the most devastating cognitive illnesses. Accumulation and deposition of amyloid beta (Aβ) peptides and neurofibrillary tangles are the significant hallmarks of AD. This study aimed to assess protective role of both nanocurcumin (NCMN) and Coenzyme Q10 (Q10) as strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-ferroptotic agents with elucidating their synergistic effects with Donepezil as acetylcholinesterase inhibitor on AD in rats via modulating PI3K/AKT/GSK-3β pathway and regulating micro RNAs expression. |
