Abstract Bladder cancer is the fourth most common kind of cancer. Mechanistic-based molecular-targeted treatments for cancer have advanced. Obatoclax (GX15) is one of the inhibitors recommended as a tumor treatment. It’s exhibits constantbinding capabilities across all anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 members. We have evaluated the anticancer effect of GX15 on squamous bladder cancer cell line (SCaBER). we demonstrated the cytotoxicity effect of GX15 through MTT assay. The growth inhibitory effect of GX15 was determined by Flowcytometry by affecting different cell cycle phases, Annexin V kit was used to evaluate apoptotic induction. Apoptosis-related genes, including BCL2 BAX and HRAS expression, were evaluated using QPCR. |
