Abstract

history, and clinical examination, diffusion tensor imaging parameters (FA and ADC values) are potential tools in: Supplying details on the integrity and microstructure of the spinal cord. Recognizing the early myelopathy changes before they show up on conventional T2 weighted imaging. Evaluating the degree and severity of myelopathic changes in the cervical spine. Emphasizing the clinical success of treatment, that ought to be started sooner rather than later for best results. FA and ADC values, which are regarded as objective indicators, are preferable than T2 weighted pictures, which are regarded as subjective assessments, for monitoring a patient. The limitations of this study might be because there was no pathogenic correlation, the patients’ DTI values could not be monitored for changes to detect a worsening of the myelopathy and the valuation of post-surgical improvements reflecting the FA and ADC was not possible.
