Abstract

The current study was carried out in Central Laboratory for Aquaculture Research (CLAR) Abassa, Abou-Hammad, Sharkia Governorate on 450 apparently healthy Nile tilapia with an average body weight (27.01 ± 0.15 g) where a control and eight experimental diets, in form of pellets were prepared. The experimental diets were supplemented with GP, GNPs, FP or FNPs, each with two distinct concentrations (0.5% and 1%).
The efficacy of each medicinal plants and its nano partricles were assessed in two separate experiments: Efficacy of (GP and GNPs, Experiment I) and (FP and FNPs, Experiment II) dietary supplementation on the hematological, immune and antioxidant status of O. niloticus and its resistance to challenge with A. hydrophila and P. Putida.
