Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic infected approximately 100 million individuals around the world and killed over 2 million. And causes physical illness, death, stress, anxiety, financial problems, and social instability, all of which contribute to a rise in the severity of suffering. As a first step in responding to a pandemic, it is critical to mitigate suffering using all available measures.
Palliative care is an integral component of ICU care; it involves a holistic approach to care, covering physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, as well as pain and symptom management. Palliative care affirms life and views death as a natural process; it neither hastens nor delays death, but rather strives to maintain the highest possible quality of life until death. Therefore, the aim of the study was to assess palliative care challenges for covid-19
