Abstract This study was conducted in multicenter Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Departments in Tanta University Hospital, Egypt; Menofia University Hospital, Egypt; and Galway University Hospital, Ireland, during the period from July 2020 to April 2023.The study was conducted on 30 patients (10 males & 20 females; 33.3%) who presented with lower limb edema, venous claudication or venous ulcer and diagnosed as chronic iliocaval venous obstructions treated with venous stents. We compared between Wallstents and dedicated venous stents.Each patient was assessed through: full history taking, complete general and local examination (CEAP and VCSS classified), laboratory investigations, duplex ultrasound scanning or CTV. |
