The satirical article represents a middle art between journalism and literature, takes from the press its immediacy and follow-up to current events and takes from literature the eloquence of the word using language to make irony, which aims to laugh outwardly, and in its interior the bitterness of criticism, and the question that arises is how the satirical article when Ahmed Ragab addresses the issues of social reality, and what stylistic features distinguished Rajab’s style from others
This is what we seek to answer through a descriptive analytical study that uses the survey methodology based on a tool to analyze the content of a number of articles ”1/2 words” in the Egyptian newspaper Akhbar Al-Youm (in the period from January 2005 to September 2014), and the study reached several results, the most important of which are:
