Abstract Endometrial cancer is considered one of the most common malignancies affecting females nowadays. It has many estrogen related risk factors such as early menarche and late menopause, nulliparity and infertility, estrogen replacing therapy and polycystic ovary syndrome as the state of hyperestrogenemia will lead to stimulation of endometrial growth and endometrial hyperplasia leading to endometrial cancer. Early detection of uterine cancer will provide the patient with a better chance of survival so women should be educated to seek medical advice immediately if they suffer from any type of abnormal uterine bleeding as currently, there is no validated screening tool for endometrial cancer yet. |
