المستخلص The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of ethical leadership (as an independent variable) on psychological ownership (as a mediating variable) and its reflection on ethical behavior (as a dependent variable), by applying it to workers in the Egyptian banking sector. The research community was represented by all employees in the branches in Minia Governorate. Statistical analyzes were performed using SPSS and AMOS. Through questionnaires distributed to a sample consisting of (290) individuals, the researcher used a survey list that was prepared for the purpose of completing the field study, and the valid lists for analysis were (226) lists with a response rate of (78%). The results of the study concluded: 1. Ethical leadership has a positive impact on ethical behavior in the government commercial banks under study. 2. Ethical leadership has a positive impact on psychological ownership in the government commercial banks under study. 3. Psychological ownership has a positive impact on ethical behavior in the government commercial banks under study. 4. There is an effect of psychological ownership as a mediating variable in the relationship between moral leadership and ethical behavior, where moral leadership affects moral behavior to a greater degree in the presence of psychological ownership as a mediating variable in this relationship.
