Abstract Transient hyperprolactinemia regularly occurs some normoprolactinemic patients candied for ICSI ,due to physiological stress the patient exposed to during Ovum pick up and before embryo transfer. Hyperprolactinemia might compromise luteal support for implantation and contribute to the limited success of ET and will have possible effect on implantation failure. We measured serum PRL concentrations in Ninty normoprolactinemic women immediately before ovum pick up (before induction of anesthesia) and after two hours after aspiration of the last follicle of ovum pick up and before embryo transfer. and compared the basal serum prolactin with the results, then after two weeks the bHCG withdrawn from the patients and count the successful and failure pregnancy rate and compare it with the serum prolactin ,to determine the effect of transient hyperprolactinemia on the possible effect of the outcome of implantation failure and pregnancy rate |
