Abstract
Thirty four cases of recurrent high grade gliomas with midline shifting were included in this study.They included thirteen cases of recurrent Anaplastic Astrocytoma (AA) and seventeen cases of recurrent Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM).Two cases of recurrent Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma (AOD) and two cases of recurrent Anaplastic ependymoma in each group. According to the line of treatment used, these patients were classified into two groups which previously treated with adjuvant therapy (Radiotherapy and chemotherapy); Group(A):(17 patients): These patients treated with total resection. group (B) (17 patients):These patients had undergone debulking and decompressive craniotomy .
