Abstract Sixty extracted human single rooted teeth were used in this study. All canals were prepared with Revo-S rotary nickel titanium files for standardization. The selected specimens were randomly divided into two main equal groups (n=30), according to the obturation material that was used; group I: canals were obturated with Gutta-percha + MTA FILLAPEX sealer, And group II : canals were obturated with Gutta-percha + AH Plus sealer. Furthermore each main group will be subdivided into 3 subgroups (n=10), according to the final irrigant type; Subgroup A: Final irrigation with 5.25% NaOCl. Subgroup B: Final irrigation with 17% EDTA. And subgroup C: Final irrigation with 25 % Citric acid. . Three horizontal sections of 2-mm thickness were cut from coronal, middle and apical thirds of each root. The test specimens were subjected to the push-out test using a Universal Testing Machine software and loaded at a crosshead speed of 0.5 mm\min. Load applied by 3 plungers of different sizes (1 mm, 0.75 mm & 0.5 mm) corresponding to Cervical, middle and apical specimens, respectively. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA and Duncn post-hoc tests, with significance set at P{u2264} 0.05pa) (P>0.05) |
