Abstract In this work, LaFeO₃ nanometric multiferroic was investigated as a parent compound. The influence of vacancy doping site and/or content on its physical properties was examined. Four different series were prepared. In1st, 2nd and 3rd groups we deal with one magnetic sublattice system (LaFeO₃) while in the 4th group we deal with two magnetic sublattices (NdFeO₃). In the 1st group the vacancy substitution on the La3+ ion site with the formulaLa1- {u0353}{u2618}{u0353}FeO₃, (0.0 {u2264} x {u2264} 0.03 in step of 0.01) was studied. The effect of vacancy substitution on Fe³⁺ site ion on the magnetic and dielectric properties was studied in the 2nd group with formula LaFe1-y{u2618}yO₃, (0.0 {u2264} y {u2264} 0.03 in step of 0.01). The simultaneous vacancy substitution on both La³⁺ and Fe³⁺ ions was studied in 3rd group with formula La1- {u0353}{u2618}{u0353}Fe1-y{u2618}yO₃, (0.0 {u2264} x , y {u2264} 0.02 in step of 0.01). The 4th group deals with the simultaneous vacancy substitution on both Nd³⁺ and Fe³⁺ ions with formulaNd1- {u0353}{u2618}{u0353}Fe₁-y{uF080}yO₃, (0.0 {u2264} x , y {u2264} 0.03 in step of 0.01). |
