This thesis is concerned with the analysis of three local anesthetic drugs namely; amylocaine hydrochloride (AM), pramocaine hydrochloride (PR) and oxybuprocaine hydrochloride (OXP). The aim of this work was to develop simple, sensitive, selective and validated analytical procedures for the quantitative determination of the studied drugs. The thesis comprises four parts: as follows: Part One: General Introduction and Literature Review This part gives a brief idea about local anesthetic drugs, definition, physical and chemical properties, therapeutic uses, and mechanism of action of amylocaine hydrochloride, pramocaine hydrochloride and oxybuprocaine hydrochloride. It also includes a detailed presentation of the studied drugs and the different methods used for their estimation
