Research problem and aim:
The linear aspect of tennis is one of the most important aspects as it represents the final outcome of the physical, skill and psychological aspects.
The process of return of serve is ground strikes, the effectiveness of which is vitally related to the tactical, skill, and physical aspect of the receiving player and aims to return the sending ball as soon as it falls to the future court in a way that puts the sending player in a defensive mode and the receiving player in an offensive mode.
The research problem lies in that unlike what the players are trained on in the place where the receiver stands at the moment of the serve performance, which is usually trained to stand behind the baseline a little distance of one to one and a half meters, a new case emerged in the 2017 season, and the owner of this case is the player The Spanish Rafael Nada ranked first in the world for the year 2017, which used a new method to repel the transmission by standing behind the base line several meters (up to 5 meters or more), so that we can describe the place where the player stands in this case as an out of position or outside The natural place of the place where the receiver stops at the moment the transmission is performed, and for This was what Rafael Nadal, the Spanish player, has already done during 18 several matches in the 2017 season, especially during the American Open tennis matches, who used this new method to return of serve in all seven of his matches that he won, and thus he won the title of the championship and was able to maintain his lead to the top World rankings of singles men in tennis, which sparked the attention of the researcher and urged him to study this new case to return of serve by analyzing the matches of the Spanish player Rafael Nadal, in which he used his new method to return of serve, as the matches were analyzed during the seasons 2017, 2018, 2019 in order to identify Li over the success of this new method in the return in the hope of reaching a new specification to return of serve.
This research aims to study the method of return of serve from behind the baseline in several meters for the Spanish player Rafael Nadal, ranked first in the world in individual tennis for the year 2017, the basic study works on knowing the most important aspects of the plans to return of serve with the aim of adding a new planning method to return of serve, which will help to Completing some of the planning aspects of tennis and putting training programs on sound scientific foundations in the hope of raising the level of Egyptian players and their reaching the international level.
The researcher used the survey descriptive approach. The study was conducted using three exploratory studies, the aim of which was as follows:
1- Identify the transmission characteristics associated with the planned side of return in order to determine the most common positions when return of serve.
2- Identifying the characteristics of the plan side to return of serve.
3- Determining the levels of effectiveness of the planned side return of serve.
4- The division of the tennis court explaining the division of the areas of the stadium used during the analysis process.
5. order variables associated with the play position (transmission specifications) as well as variables associated with the planning behavior (transmission blocking process).
6. Conceptualizing the design of the data collection form.
7- Try the form and make sure it is valid for use.
8- Training the researcher to observe using that form and record the data for the study.
9- Training the researcher to use kinova program (Kinovea) during observation to reach the most accurate results.
And 18 matches of the Spanish player (Rafael Nadal) were studied in the main and final rounds of the Miami Open 2017, The Miami Open 2017, (Barcelona Open 2017) Barcelona Open Tennis Championship 2017, (Rome Open 2017) Rome Open Tennis Championship 2017, (Us Open 2017) Us Open Tennis Championship 2017, Cincinnati masters 2017 Cincinnati masters 2017, (Barcelona Open 2018) Barcelona Tennis Championship 2018, (Rogers Cup 2018) Roger Cup Canada 2018, Kooyong Classic 2018 Tennis Australia 2018, (Abierto Mexicano de Tenis 2019) Mexican Open 2019, (Australian Open 2019) Australian Open 2019.
And the researcher used the SPSS statistical program through the use of cross tabulation using a cross-tabulation system, which works to calculate the percentage and frequency of the effectiveness of the planning side to repel transmission under the activity levels and then determine the degree of effectiveness by the following equation:

The researcher reached to define the planning aspects to return of serve and study its effectiveness, as follows:
1- The place where the receiver stands at the moment of serve.
2- The ball bouncing time before return.
3- The type of strike used to return.
4- The type of ball rotation resulting from return.
5- The height of the flying ball after return.
6- Time of flying ball after return.
7- Place the ball in the opponent’s court after return.
8- The receiving player moves after return.
