Abstract Background: The endometrium undergoes adequate proliferation and differentiation in the follicular phase, which is followed by timely secretory changes during the luteal phase. Successful implantation is dependent on a close dialogue between the blastocyst and the receptive endometrium. Aim of the Work: to investigate the role of three dimensional power Dop-pler indices of sub endometrial vessels together with uterine artery Doppler indices at the day of embryo transfer in predicting the outcome of ICSI cycle. Methodolgy: This prospective cohort observational follow up study was conducted at Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital (Ain Shams University Assisted Reproduction Unit and Ultrasound Special Care Unit for the Fetus) from 8th of June 2021 until 8th of February 2022 to investigate the role of three dimensional power Dop¬pler indices of sub endometrial vessels together with uterine artery Doppler indices at the day of embryo transfer in predicting the outcome of ICSI cycle. Results: Regarding 3D power Doppler indices of the studied cases and their validity in prediction of ICSI outcomes; statistical analysis of current results showed that there was no statistically significant relation between getting pregnancy and endometrial thickness and visualization zone with p value = 0725 and 0.416. Conclusion: in infertile women undergoing ICSI cycle, three dimensional power Dop¬pler ultrasound assessments of sub endometrial vessels together with uterine artery Doppler indices at the day of embryo transfer is considered a valid, non-invasive, non-expensive, accurate and safe tool with an important significant highly sensitive role in predicting the outcome of ICSI cycle. |
