المستخلص In this thesis we present a novel tutor modeling technique that records instructional behavior from student - teacher interactions on top of example tracing scenarios. Both teacher and students interact within a data capturing environment developed for this purpose. A special virtual classroom has been developed for simultaneous capturing of teacher dialogue moves and additional VCR collaboration tools. The experiments performed with the system involved 55 students, 4 teachers and one teaching director in 2 topics of a well - defined knowledge domain (mathematics). The resulting models were evaluated for effectiveness and similarity to human tutors. Statistical analysis has significant improvement compared to previous models |
