Abstract The aim of this work is development and validation of new analytical techniques for enantioseparation and quantitative determination of some chiral switching drugs. In this thesis, zopiclone, ofloxacin, atracurium mesylate, ibuprofen, atropine sulphate, ketoprofen, and citalopram, were chosen to be studied as representative examples of chiral switching drugs to pure isomers, eszopiclone, levofloxacin, cisatracurium mesylate, dexibuprofen, hyoscyamine sulphate, dexketoprofen, escitalopram oxalate. The accuracy, selectivivity and applicability of the developed methods to the determination of enantiomeric purity and assay of chiral drugs in drug substances and drug products in QC laboratories were also studied |
