Abstract
Herpetic Stromal Keratitis is now believed to be a leading cause of infectious blindness not due to primary infection with herpes simplex virus but to corneal scarring due to immune mediated inflammatory reaction that associated with HSK. Early diagnosis and started treatment may play a role in preventing this debilitating disease.
This study aimed to compare between effect of Cyclosporine –A versus Prednisolone in treatment of Herpetic Stromal Keratitis.This study was done on the patients who admitted the cornea unit of the Tanta University Ophthalmology Hospital, a tertiary referral center from October 2020 to 1st April 2021 suffered from Herpetic Stromal Keratitis
