Abstract
Quality measurement is the motive for quality improvement. The real scope of quality improvement in construction projects is the difficulty and -maybe- lack of quality measurement methods. This research suggest the expert system for measuring the degree of quality in the construction project, this expert system will create knowledge base from human experts whom works in this field (Construction Management Field) and from requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The expert system provides the users with set suggestions to achieving the required quality and reducing the cost of quality. It also takes into account the effective enhancement and the quality cost estimate. And it generates summary and detailed reports that contain all information pertaining to the project. A computer prototype, named MEQ-ex, is developed by Visual Studio 2013, C# language as a proof of concept for the proposed framework. Three Actual cases are analyzed to validate the developed program and illustrate its essential features.
