Abstract

Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer death among women. US is the first-line imaging investigation for the suspected adnexal mass and does an excellent job in helping to characterize the majority of women as having no adnexal mass, a benign mass, or a malignant mass. Multiparametric approach; such as diffusion-weighted (DW) MR imaging, dynamic contrast material-enhanced (DCE) MR imaging, and MR spectroscopy; combines information from different functional imaging techniques, which goes beyond what can be achieved by using a single technique and help narrow the differential diagnosis
