المستخلص
The philosophies of Ibn Khaldun and Machiavelli represent distinct models of the societal renaissance theses in the light of the realistic vision, which lead to their agreement in many aspects, considering power as the axis of politics. Despite that, their opinions differed towarda some issues, Especially the relationship between politics and religion and morals, due to the differende in paradigm.
This study shows the most important aspects of philosophical compatibility and discrepancy between Ibn Khaldun and Machiavelli, and identifies the reasons for that compatibility and discrepancy, highlighting their contribution in enriching human political thought.
