The study plan was developed as it began with an introduction that specifically includes the problem of the study its objectives method and research tools and data sources followed by five main sections. The first Chapter deals with the reference review of previous studies in agricultural mechanization and the theoretical framework for the study.The second chapter dealt with the development of the use of agricultural mechanization in Egypt. This chapter included two parts. The first chapter dealt with the estimated relationships between the used units of agricultural mechanization and the agricultural variables through four parts The First part Dealt with the general trend of agricultural mechanization in the Egyptian agricultural sector. This is done by studying the developments in the number of tractors and threshing machines in Egypt during the period (2004-2019).It reached (95.88) thousand tractors in 2004 and reached its maximum in 2017 when it reached (136.68) thousand tractors an annual average of (117.97) thousand tractors during the study period. Production and pre-production (F) calculated and amounting to (376.01).Their coefficient in the natural setting was (0.96) this means that 96% of the changes that occurred in the number of agricultural tractors are due to the factors reflected by the time variable. The data in table no. (1) indicates an increase in the number of irrigation machines in Egypt for the period (2004-2019) It reached the lowest (671.25) thousand irrigation machines in 2004 and reached its maximum in 2017 when the number reached (1014.38) thousand irrigation machines with annual average of (845.5) thousand irrigation machines during the study period.By calculating the equation of the general time trend for the development of the number of irrigation machines during the study period equation no. (1) shows that the number of irrigation machines increases annually by (27.33) thousand irrigation machines at an increased rate of (3.2%) annually and this increase was statistically confirmed at the level of 1% according to the indication (F) calculated and amounting to (500.2). The modified determination coefficient was (0.99), meaning that 99% of the changes in the number of irrigation machines are due to the factors reflected by the time variable
