المستخلص The nineties of the last century witnessed a revolution in the world of governments that transferred most of their services to the Internet according to what is known as e-government, and the smart government is an advanced model of e-government based on transferring e-government services to smart devices that the citizen carries with him wherever he is, allowing him access to many government services through his smart device. from this standpoint, modernizing the Egyptian state and supporting it with the latest in communications and information technology is one of the main means to continue the economic and social reform program, and there is no doubt that this development will reflect positively on citizens, investors and business sector companies that deal with governmental entities, as the main goal of the development process is to provide government services to the citizen in no time, with minimal effort and with international levels of competence. Therefore, it is necessary to set standards for building and designing smart government applications in Egypt, ensuring a design that is easy to use, innovative, efficient and effective, allowing the user to obtain smart services. The thesis consists of five chapters that covered, smart government applications, the structural and functional standards for their design, that is as follows: Chapter One: The Smart Government (Concept - Objectives - Importance) This chapter deals with the concept of the smart government, its characteristics, and its objectives, as well as the benefits for the Egyptian government and the Egyptian citizen from activating smart government transactions, as well as the challenges facing the smart government in Egypt. This is in addition to learning about smart services, how to choose smart services and determining their potential for transformation. |
