Abstract Objectives: the Objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of anterior open bite (AOB) in a group of Egyptian children. Methods: the sample comprised 115 participant aged between 8 and 15 years (mesn age:9±1 years). Anterior open bite was assessed. other variables examined were normal overbite, excessive overbite and excessive overjet. Results: the results showed that about 20.9% had anterior open bite, 71.2% had normal overbite, 7.8% had increased overbite. overjet relationship was incressed in 44.4% |
