Abstract

The present investigation aims to evaluated the activity of six insecticides belong to different groups of insecticides including organophosphorus insecticides (profenphos - pirimiphos{u2012}methyl{uFD3F} neonicotinoid compound (imidacloprid - thiamethoxam) , pyrethroid insecticides (Cypermethrin - Lambada Cyhalothrin) against field whitefly Bemissia tabaci (Genn.) collected from four Egyptian Governorates. The main results showed that , the lambada cyhalothrin was the most effective compound on adult stage while profenophos and primiphose-methyl were the lowest effective insecticides. Residual data of study on whitefly Bemisia tabaci adult on tomato represented that on tomato field.Data show that the (OP) profenofos was the lowest effect on B.Tabaci adults, Inspect of the (OP) insecticides pirimiphos{u2012}methyl was highest residual effect calculated followed by thiamethoxam.Data show that lowest mean residual effects for imidacloprid and cypermethrin in population density of whitefly Bemisia tabaci adults on tomato field. On the other hand, the effectiveness of different insecticides against of whitefly Bemisia tabaci immature stages . general mean for initial and residual , insecticides effectes indicated that thiamethoxam the most effective for immature stages of Bemisia tabaci followes by imidacloprid , lambda-cyhalothrin , primiphos{u2012}methyl ,cypermethrin and profenofos
