Abstract
Objectives : to compare between 3D TVS & office hysteroscopy for the evaluation of the uterine cavity and cervical canal in women with normal 2D TVS & HSG scheduled for IVF. Patients and methods : 200 patients attending to infertility clinic pre- IVF, with normal 2D TVS & HSG.Office hysteroscopy & 3D TVS were done on the same day and results are compared . Results : no statistically significant difference between 3D TVS and office hysteroscopy for the evaluation of uterine cavity and cervical canal in women with normal 2D TVS & HSG scheduled for IVF.Conclusion : 3D TVS can be used as a preliminary diagnostic tool or a complementary method to office hysteroscopy for the evaluation of uterine cavity & cervical canal in women with normal 2D TVS & HSG scheduled for IVF
